Two Very Rare Dolls
Pamela Valentine began designing and making dolls in the 1970's. Pamela and Noel Valentine hand-crafted, hand-dressed, and sold their own original, limited-run studio dolls out of San Francisco, California. Her studio dolls were made in limited editions of 3-50 dolls. The rich fabrics and lace along with their lovely accessories are romantic and elegant. These two dolls are very rare, studio editions in mint condition. Both contain a sewn-in fabric "Valentine's Ladies" label inside the dress. The hand tag features the doll's name, edition number, date made, and a hand written address of the original buyer. They are from a very large private collection that was carefully cared for and carefully stored.
