*Note: all 8 inch Madame Alexander dolls were manufactured using rubber bands to attach the head, arms, and legs, onto the torso. This allowed for easy and smooth movement of the body parts. However, over time, rubber bands age and become brittle leading to loose body parts or breaking altogether with the doll eventually falling apart. As these dolls ranged in age from 26-47 years old, whether they had loose limbs or not, they were all restrung to provide their new owners with a "like new" product.
Madame Alexander always used quality materials that have truly withstood the test of time as the condition of these dolls exemplifies. The materials and colors as well as the body parts are all in excellemt condition and should give their new owner many years of satisfied enjoyment.
